Shocking upset in the late game last night as the scrapy Slovakian team upset the defending champs from Sweden.
Canada will now face Slovakia on Friday night at 9:30 PM EST. In the other semi final the Finns will play the Americans.
Obviously, Slovakia will be no push over. They have scored wins over Russia and Sweden in their surprising tournament thus far.

Lundqvist let in four goals on fourteen shots? Man, that's brutal, but let's be honest, I think Canada would prefer to face the Slovaks over Sweden any day of the week.
ReplyDeleteHalak can pull a Ryan Miller and steal one for his team. Canada just needs to play full throttle like they did against the Russians and they'll be fine.
