  3. I am a little suprised that Iggy isn't playing with Crosby and also that they don't have Nash playing with Getzlaf and Perry.

This is going to be a great tournament to watch!

    GO CANADA GO!!

  6. Somebody please tell me why the hell a player like Bergeron (12g/25a) is playing on the top line especially when his biggest specialty is faceoffs and he is on the wing! I never liked this decision to have him in the line-up.

The Juniors were years ago when he was paired up with Crosbyin my opinion he has done nothing to even warrant being on this team. Pisses me off to see him play and not a much more deserving player like St.Louis or even Stamkos..both who have been nothing but spectactular all year.

Pathetic to say the least...but otherwise the line-up looks fantastic. Lets hope the Sharks line catches fire again! Not concerned about the recent struggles of Luongo and Brodeur. They will BOTH step it up big time!

SC, excellent job on the constant blogs and updates!

From the East Coast....GO CANADA GO!

  7. Bergeron has to be the worst pick Yzerman made. How he's on the first line and not Iginla is plain stupid.

  8. Heatley is going to pull out cause he is on the 3rd line.

  9. Agree 100 % with Michael, that Stamkos or St-Louis would be a much better choice !

Heatley should be able to shine, and I hope he plays with heart, and not complain about a diminished role !!

  10. So is Luongo starting because Brodeur is Babcocks guess as our go-to guy? Makes sense if hes hedging that Broduer will be best, because he gets a bit of rest now, then not too much rest b/w Swiss and US games. Leaving Fleury as insurance? I am real worried about our goaltending. Brodeur and Luongos recent playoffs, and bad NHL games. Names and history wont win the Gold. Not worried about our D though.
