World Junior Roster Set

The Canadian World Junior Team is now set with the final roster cuts coming down this morning. Here are the 22 players that will represent Canada.

The roster features six returning players, three of which are on defence. The tournaments kicks off on Boxing Day when Canada takes on Latvia.

  1. Looks like a good line up. I'd love to see Cowen and Teubert planing together - the opposition will pay the price to get into our zone!

    I feel bad for Cuma though, first he's not invited, then he gets invited as a replacement for Weircioch and now he misses the cut. Actually I feel bad for Weircioch too now that I think about it. ;)

    Heard an interview with him this morning saying there weren't really any surprises in the final cuts.

  4. Too bad for Ottawa born Shawn Lalonde. I'm sure the season the Belleville Bulls are having didn't make things easier for him. He's tremendously talented and this only goes to show the amount of talent Canada is icing again this year.
